Jorge Gabriel is receiving radiation treatments for a brain tumor. He is not reacting well physically to the treatments. He has no energy, is throwing up and doesn’t want to eat.

He is such a wonderful young man who’s very positive and cheerful. It is difficult to see him so sad.

If anyone feels inspired to do some surrogate tapping for Jorge Gabriel, I will be very grateful and I know he will too.

Today was one of those days when doing something simple like letting a child use a TappyBear makes a difference.

Milagros turned 1 years old a couple of weeks ago and she is in the hospital waiting for surgery.

I put TappyBear in front of her. Her eyes got wide and she smiled brightly. Even though she doesn’t know how to “tap”, I tapped on Tappy saying what a great girl she is. She was shining with delight.

Jesus was softly crying when I saw him. Since his last surgery two small tumors have formed. It makes him sad even though these tumors are smaller and less invasive than the previous ones.

I was tapping with him about these tumors, to release his sadness, to continue with his treatments, to choose to feel ok about this journey with cancer.

I asked him to talk to the tumors and ask them what they needed to heal. He sat there with his eyes closed for a little while then this is what he said:

“The tumors aren’t bad. They are good. They are here to help me learn to be persistent. To choose to live. They need more love to heal.”

These words from a gentle 14 year old young man tell a deep truth. His cancer is not bad, but good. It is here to help him learn how to love more, to love himself more. Isn’t that the journey we are all taking in this life no matter in what form it appears?

Jesus has shared from his heart a great lesson, a great opportunity, that all of all can utilize. Love is a great healer and important part of living life. Let’s all love ourselves and others more deeply from now on.

We have many opportunities to make a difference in life. Sometimes these opportunities show up because we do “big” things like working with kids with cancer and other times it is just our presence.

Today was one of those days where just my presence lightened up someone’s day. I mean literally lit up the face of a sweet young girl named Rosa. I felt moved by that smile and those shining eyes, then realized there was another consequence of brightening someone’s day. Seeing her face light up brightened my day beyond measure.

Give yourself permission to light up someone’s day by smiling and let someone’s smile light up your day too.

Adriana was sitting on a chair in the waiting room while receiving her chemo treatment for cancer. She looked unhappy. I asked her if she felt bad – yep upset tummy from chemo.

I sat next to her and tapped with her. I tapped about the medications making her feel bad. I joked that her meds better behave better. She laughed at that.

We tapped:
Meds you better behave.
I am telling you to be good.
You’re supposed to help me, not make me feel bad.
Now behave.
Be good meds.

About half of her nausea dropped off as we tapped these phrases. We repeated these phrases and a few similar ones until her nausea dropped off to nothing.

She was surprised and so was her mom. Basically we had fun, joking about her medications and how they affect her, how they too need to behave like good kids. Something in that phraseology worked for Adriana.

I left her with this smile on her face. I looked back a few minutes later and she was happily reading a book with her mom.

Kimberly just turned two and she has a rare disease called Erdheim–Chester disease. After a month in the pediatric ward she was moved to oncology. She naturally now hangs onto her mother as a lifeline from all who may “do” something to her.

I approached them, sat down and instantly saw this sweet little girl hang onto her mother. I got a TappyBear and put him on my lap. I showed Kimberly’s mother how to tap to release her stress. Kimberly watched intently. I left Tappy with her.

The following day Kimberly and her mom were playing with Tappy. The mom was asking her daughter to touch all of the buttons. They were laughing as they did.

Kimberly showed no fear when she saw me. Once again, I’m the TappyBear lady, and she comes round to help kids feel good. It is quite an honor to be “TappyBear Lady.”
