The Oaxaca Project

I find that kids of all ages love Tappy, including the “Big Kids”. What I mean is the teenage kids with cancer. Teen girls and boys like tapping on Tappy to help them feel better.

Diego used Tappy with his friends. They laughed at first, but his friends were so happy to have a way to help their friend feel better that they forgot all about him being a stuffed animal. It was about helping their friend, which made them feel useful and not helpless.

Fabiola likes her Tappy because she can share him with her younger brother, whom she loves deeply.

Zuleyma likes Tappy because it makes her feel calm and relaxed.

Minera uses Tappy because she is really shy and it lets her tap about whatever she needs but privately. She used to be so quiet and distant. Now she is quite open with me and I always get a smile.

Anastacia is another shy young lady who Tappy helped get rid of fears, sadness and tiredness.
